HOTEL CANOVA, Rome – Your ideal downtown stay

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable with characteristically dark old furniture, and the staff was welcoming and helpful. However, the dining options were limited. The location was great in a fun area of Rome, close to local restaurants and the Colosseum, although it was in a somewhat quiet neighborhood. The facilities were good, and the price was reasonable.

However, the price seemed a bit high for what was offered. The service, with the receptionist also helping out at the bar, was efficient and welcoming. The location, though not in a touristy area, was convenient as it was close to local restaurants in the Monti district. The dining experience with a wonderful view was a highlight despite limited daily fish options. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the overall comfort of my stay.
